Two arrested on Cunningham Road on drug charges

Two men were arrested on drug charges at a residence on Cunningham Road during the execution of a search warrant by Floyd County Police.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 56-year old Billy Wayne Easterwood of a Flannery Street address had methamphetamine, a quarter-size amount of suspected marijuana and four Lorcet pills not in the original container in his right front pocket.

53-year old Floyd Allen Busby of the residence was found in possession of multiple syringes, a bottle of suspected Ambien not prescribed to him, and two firearms, according to the report.

Busby is a convicted felon.

Easterwood is charged with possession of meth, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drugs not in the original container, possession of drug-related objects and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
