Three arrested on Bollen Court

Floyd County Police arrested three people Friday on charges of entering an automobile with the intent to commit a felony.

Those arrested were 20-year old Patrick Seaborne Zinnermon of a Leafmore Drive address; 20-year old Timothy Bishop Jr. and 19-year old Madyson Garrett, both of Bollen Court, where the arrests took place.

All three are also charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, and misdemeanor theft by receiving stolen property.

 

Two arrested on drug charges

Two Rome residents were arrested in a room at the Red Roof Inn on drug charges Friday.

According to Floyd County Jail records, methamphetamine, several hydrocodone pills, several clonazepam pills, a baggy of suspected marijuana, several prescription only Gabapentin pills, a pipe, two digital scales and several baggies were found in the room.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 35-year old Elena Morae Blitch of Ashland Park Boulevard and 40-year old John Ira Hartson of Clover Street are charged with possession of methamphetamine; possession of meth with the intent to distribute; possession of Schedule II and Schedule IV controlled substances; possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance with the intent to distribute; possession of a Schedule III, IV or V controlled substance with the intent to distribute; sale, possession or distribution of dangerous drugs; possession of drugs not in the original container; possession of drug-related objects; and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

Hartson is also being held on a probation violation.

 

Man charged with credit card fraud

Floyd County Police arrested a Rome man at his Northridge Court residence Friday on two felony counts of financial transaction card fraud.

According to the arrest warrants, 26-year old Toby Lance Eden used a stolen Capital One credit card and a Walmart credit card to obtain $420 in goods and money at the East Rome Walmart on January 1.

Eden was also charged with misdemeanor theft by taking and is being held on a parole violation.
