Floyd County Police responded to a two-vehicle wreck in the dense fog at Highway 53 and Burlington Drive Monday morning.
According to police, a 2016 Chevy Spark traveling southbound on Highway 53 attempted to make a left turn onto Burlington and turned into the path of a northbound 2008 Toyota Tacoma
The driver of the Chevy was transported to the hospital.
The extent of her injuries was not known.
However, they did not appear to be life-threatening.
The driver of the Tacoma sustained minor injuries.
The wreck occurred at around 9 a.m. Monday.
