Polk County robbery suspect in custody

The Polk County Police Department says a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred early Tuesday morning is now in custody in another jurisdiction.

22-year old Brandon Earl Preston was wanted on charges of armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Authorities say Preston robbed the Cowboy’s convenience store in the Fish Creek area at around 1 a.m. with a breach barreled sawed-off shotgun.
