(Via Weis Radio) A Cherokee County man was placed under arrest on multiple drug charges Wednesday, as a result of an on-going drug investigation.
Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver said a search warrant was obtained and executed at the County Road 7 home of 43 year old Renie McCreary, with investigators seizing both cocaine and marijuana from inside the residence.
McCreary was charged with five counts of Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance/Cocaine, one count of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree and six counts of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
McCreary was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center just after 2:00pm, where he remains with bond set at $84,000.
