[VIDEO] Christina Bullock and Mandy Jones named GNTC’s 2020 GOAL and Rick Perkins award winners

On Tuesday afternoon a crowd of families, students, professors and city officials all gathered for the Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership also known as GOAL and the Rick Perkins Award at the Coosa Country Club in Rome. Four Georgia Northwestern Technical college students have been selected as the colleges semi-finalists for the GOAL award. 

The Rick Perkins award honors the technical college system of Georgia’s most outstanding instructors who makes significant contributions to technical education; and seven instructors from GNTC were nominated for this award. 

       Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) announced Adult Echocardiography student Christina Bullock as its 2020 Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership (GOAL) winner and English instructor Mandy Jones as the college’s 2020 Rick Perkins Instructor of the Year.

The presentation also recognized Calhoun resident Brandon Dyer as Georgia Northwestern’s 2020 EAGLE Leadership Institute representative. The institute recognizes and honors those students who have demonstrated superior achievement in Adult Education classes and programs.
