Georgia General Assembly will adjourn the 2020 legislative to discuss the 2021 Fiscal State Plan

The Georgia General Assembly –

Because Georgia lawmakers in the state legislature needed more time to discuss & debate on Georgia Governor Brian Kemp’s $28 billion 2021 state plan, the Georgia General Assembly will adjourn the 2020 legislative session starting on February 6th.

During this break The House will debate the fiscal budget plan and funding cuts, and hope to reconvene at 10:00 AM Tuesday (February 18, 2020) to continue the 2020 session.

*GA state Representative Katie Dempsey will be on WRGA’s First News show with Tony McIntosh on Thursday morning to speak more on the significance of this.
