Man facing multiple drug charges

Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force Officers recently arrested a Rome man on multiple drug charges.

According to an arrest warrant, 40-year old Jeffrey Thomas Bagley sold heroin to a cooperating witness on February 2.

During the execution of a search warrant at Bagley’s Nature Walk Trail residence on Friday, officers say they found a loaded 9mm handgun, heroin, digital scales, baggies aluminum foil and straws.

Bagley was additionally charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of drug-related objects, possession of a controlled substance and possession with the intent to distribute.
