Report: Convicted felon caught hunting on private property

A convicted felon was arrested over the weekend after he was allegedly caught on a trail camera hunting on someone else’s property on Davis Loop Road.

According to the arrest warrants, 39-year old Andrew William Fowler was in possession of a black synthetic stocked firearm with a scope.

Fowler has never possessed a Georgia Hunting license, big game license or harvest records, according to one of the warrants.

He is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, hunting without a license, hunting on someone else’s land without permission and failure to wear fluorescent orange.
