GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH
The Georgia Department of Public Health is reporting there are two confirmed COVID-19 cases in Gordon County.
This brings the total for the Northwest Georgia Public Health District to 8.
Two cases in Floyd County, one in Polk County (being treated at Floyd Medical Center in Rome) and three in Bartow County.
There are 42 cases statewide.
There has been one death (a 67-year old Cobb County man with underlying medical conditions).
