A statewide ‘shelter in place’ order signed by Governor Brian Kemp goes into effect at 6 p.m. tonight.
Georgians who are not participating in essential services, performing necessary travel or are part of the workforce for critical infrastructure are required to stay at home.
The order also allows leaving the house to purchase necessities such as food or medicine.
You are also not allowed to have visitors unless they are providing medical services, food, cleaning supplies or equipment needed to work from home.
