Georgia Governor Brian Kemp gave a live address on Wednesday afternoon updating the state on the latest COVID-19 News.
Kemp spoke on extending the Shelter-In-Place policy until April 30th, and also extended Georgia’s State of Emergency until May 13th.
Other topics covered included ordering more beds for the state’s hospitals, and banning the short-term vacation rentals in the state of Georgia (starting at 12 AM April 9th, and lasting until april 30th) .
Gov. Kemp was also joined by GA DPH Commissioner Kathleen Toomey, Georgia Emergency Management Director Homer Bryson, and Georgia Department of Defense Adjutant General Thomas Carden who answered public questions after the Governor gave his address.
