GA DPH COVID-19 Status Report for April 16th

GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH

Two new COVID-19 cases were reported in Floyd County over the last 24 hours, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.

Floyd County is now at 122 positive tests and six deaths.

Statewide, as of 7 p.m. Thursday, there were 16,368 confirmed cases statewide with 617 deaths.

3,260 are hospitalized.

50 Gordon County residents tested positive for COVID-19.  There have been five deaths.

Polk County has 28 cases and no deaths while Chattooga County is up to nine positives.  There has been one death in Chattooga County.

Bartow County has 240 cases and two more people have died, bringing the total to 22 since the start of the outbreak.
