FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS
A Milledgeville man was booked into the Floyd County Jail over the weekend on charges of aggravated child molestation and sex trafficking.
According to jail records, 61-year old Steven Wayne Starley made contact with someone he knew was under the age of 16 online and engaged in a graphic conversation, in which he asked for nude pictures and promised gifts in exchange for sex acts.
He then traveled from his home to Floyd County in order to meet the child.
Starley was found in possession of a rifle at the time of his arrest.
He was additionally charged with sexual exploitation of children, the use of a computer to entice a child, obscene internet contact with a child, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
