ROME CITY SCHOOLS
The Rome City School System has unveiled its return to school plan.
The current plan is to start on August 3 with everyone coming to school.
If the community is in the midst of a substantial COVID-19 outbreak at the time school begins, they may have to start with everyone attending school virtually.
That is not the situation at this time.
The school system also plans to offer a Virtual Learning Academy for those families who wish to pursue that as an option.
More details to come on that later.
There will be extra precautions such as the wearing of facial coverings, and screening of everyone entering the building.
