(Via WZQZ Radio) A Trion woman was arrested in Floyd County over the weekend after she was accused of taking someone’s wallet.
Floyd County Police say that forty-one-year-old Amanda Mae Barnes was at McDonald’s on Martha Berry Highway when she allegedly took someone’s wallet “with the intent of emptying it.”
When police arrested Barnes, they say that she had methamphetamine and Oxycodone pills in her possession.
Police also said that Barnes had a glass pipe at the time of her arrest.
She was booked into the Floyd County Jail without bond on Saturday morning on charges of pills not in original container, theft by taking and possession of drug related objects.
