[VIDEO] Rome Area History Center soft re-opening

The Rome Area History Center, located in downtown Rome, held a soft re-opening of its museum on Tuesday.

Since reopening, the center will featured a new expanded interactive timeline of the history of Rome and Floyd County, and even introduced a new museum mascot: “Capi” the Capitoline Wolf.

WRGA  spoke with museum archivist, historian, and tour guide Selena Tilly more about the Rome Area History Center and the new things visitors could expect to see.

***Admission is free, but due to COVID-19 precautions,  masks are required upon entry to the museum.
