Friday is the last day for in-person advance voting ahead of the August 11 primary runoff election.
If you don’t vote by 5 p.m. Friday at the Floyd County Administration building on 4th Avenue you will have to wait and vote at your polling place on Tuesday.
Absentee ballots are also due by Tuesday.
There are drop boxes outside the elections office and at the library.
There are two contests on the Republican ballot.
Tom Caldwell and Dave Roberson are in a runoff for sheriff.
For Congress in the 14th district, John Cowan and Marjorie Taylor Green are facing off.
The winner will face Democrat Kevin Van Ausdal in November.
