GBI Makes Multiple Drug Arrests and Seizures in Paulding and Haralson

Georgia Bureau of Investigation – 

On Thursday, September 10, 2020, at approximately 8:00 a.m., the GBI West Metro Regional Drug Enforcement Office and the Haralson-Paulding Drug Task Force executed a series of search warrants and arrest warrants resulting in the arrest of 15 persons.

Search warrants were executed at 138 Hunters Lake Drive in Villa Rica, 578 Sandhill Hulett Road in Villa Rica, 361 Williams Road in Villa Rica, 125 Robindale Lane in Temple, and 557 Remington Lane in Acworth. This investigation began in January 2020.

The investigation and subsequent search warrants resulted in the seizure of more than 38 kilograms of methamphetamine with a street value of approximately $530,000, a quantity of marijuana, a quantity of illicit pharmaceuticals, 11 firearms, 34 vehicles from drug proceeds, and approximately $200,000 in U.S. Currency from drug proceeds.

More charges and arrests are pending.

  • Andregus Miquel Sparks, age 41, Temple, Georgia – Conspiracy Trafficking Methamphetamines, Using a Communication Facility to Commit a Felony
  • Stephanie Diane Keeton, age 36, Villa Rica, Georgia – Conspiracy Trafficking Methamphetamines, Using a Communication Facility to Commit a Felony, Possession of Methamphetamines with the Intent to Distribute

The West Metro Regional Drug Enforcement Office is comprised of GBI Special Agents and GBI Task Force Agents from the Carrollton Police Department, Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Villa Rica Police Department, Heard County Sheriff’s Office, LaGrange Police Department, Fayetteville Police Department, Atlanta Police Department, Fairburn Police Department, Newnan Police Department and the Bowdon Police Department.

The Haralson/Paulding Drug Task Force is led by a GBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge and Task Force Agents from the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, Haralson County Sheriff’s Office, Tallapoosa Police Department and Dallas Police Department.
