FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS
A teenager is facing felony charges in connection with an incident at the Rome Youth Detention Center on Marable Way back on October 10.
According to the arrest warrants, 17-year old Demarius Tyrese Hodges of Rome popped a sprinkler in his room at the YDC.
As staff tried to go in to retrieve the pieces, Hodges blocked the door.
He then began to curse at the officers and yelled “I know where you live and on Blood I will shoot your house up when I get out.”
Hodges is charged with terroristic threats and acts, interference with government property, felony obstruction of officers, and participation in a criminal street gang.
He was also charged with interference with an electronic monitoring device.
That warrant states that Hodges was required to wear the device as part of his conditional bond.
Between March 30 and August 31, Hodges failed to charge the device 42 times.
