COVID-19 report for Sunday

Another 46 Floyd County residents have tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Sunday report from the Georgia Department of Public Health.

The 46 new cases reported Sunday bring the total to 4,547 since the start of the pandemic.

No additional deaths were reported from Saturday to Sunday.  Floyd County remains at 67.

Bartow County reported 27 new cases for a total of 4,047 and 98 deaths, which is unchanged from Saturday.

Gordon County is at 2,768 total cases, up by 22 from the day before and 54 deaths, which is unchanged.

Polk County saw 12 new cases from Saturday to Sunday for a total of 1,881 and no death deaths. Polk County remains at 30.

Chattooga County is now at 1,066 cases, up by 8, and 30 deaths, which is unchanged from Saturday.

Statewide, there were 1,962 new cases for a total of 386,949 since late February.

Only one death was reported from Saturday to Sunday, bringing the total to 8,462.
