Floyd County reports two COVID-19 deaths Wednesday

GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH

The Georgia Department of Public Health reported another 2,562 new COVID-19 cases statewide on Wednesday, bringing the total to 393,980 since the start of the pandemic.

46 of those cases were Floyd County residents.

Bartow County reported 42 positive tests on Wednesday.

Gordon County reported 27, Polk County saw 17, and Chattooga County was at two new cases.

Floyd County and Polk County reported two deaths from Tuesday to Wednesday while Bartow County had one.

Statewide, there were 42 confirmed deaths reported on Wednesday for a total of 8,536 since the start of the pandemic.
