Collins re-elected Rome School Board chair, Fisher named vice-chair

Rome City Schools Board Members voted during Tuesday night’s meeting on the Board members who will serve as chair and vice chairperson for the 2021 school year.

Faith Collins will serve as chairperson and vice chairperson will be Jill Fisher.

Also Tuesday night, the finalists from each school for the 2022 Teacher of the Year were announced.

They are:

Carla Freeman – Anna K. Davie

Kelly Dae – East Central

Jessica Presley – Elm Street

Josie West – Main Elementary

Kristin Myers – West Central

Nikki Huckaby – West End

Stephanie Carles – Rome Middle

Sarah Brown – Rome High
