GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH

The Georgia Department of Public Health reported Monday that another Floyd County resident has died from COVID-19, the 122nd death since the start of the pandemic.

Floyd County also reported another 39 positive tests in Monday’s report for a total of 7,855.

Bartow County is now at a total of 8,036 cases, up by 63 from Sunday.

Gordon County was up by 22 for a total of 4,732.

Chattooga County reported another six positive tests from Sunday to Monday for a total of 1,826.

Polk County saw 21 more confirmed cases for a total of 3,174.

Another Polk County resident has died, which is the 53rd death since March.

The State of Georgia, as a whole, is now at 684,763 total cases, up by 4,428 from Sunday’s report.

The death toll is now at 11,095.

Another 63 confirmed deaths were reported on Monday.
