A 45-year-old Rome man was arrested after he admitted to a shooting.
According to Floyd County Jail reports, Jozell Marcus Payne admitted to the shooting during a traffic stop.
The shooting occurred on Wilson Avenue in South Rome, and two victims were struck by gunfire.
Payne was also found with a stolen firearm he claimed was the weapon used during the shooting.
Payne is also being charged with 2 counts of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and theft by receiving stolen property.
