FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS
A Rome woman was arrested after she allegedly swung a baseball bat at another person during a domestic altercation.
According to Floyd County Jail records, 52-year old Terrie Ann Cox also struck the victim’s vehicle with the bat, causing damage.
The report states that Cox was transported to the hospital where she then started a physical altercation with police by throwing something at an officer.
She then resisted being placed in handcuffs and kicked the leg of a nurse.
Cox also reportedly broke a nurse’s phone during the altercation.
Cox is charged with aggravated assault, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, 2nd-degree criminal damage to property, obstruction of officers, simple assault, and simple battery on a law enforcement officer.
