FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS
Two Taylorsville residents were arrested after allegedly trying to steal a box trailer from a location on Chateau Drive.
According to Floyd County Jail records, 35-year old Johnnie E. Turner and 41-year old Ryan Feeney Stump entered the fenced-in property, which was posted with “no trespassing” signs and damaged two locks on the trailer.
Turner was in the process of hooking the trailer to his truck when police arrived.
Turner gave his brother’s name to the police and was in possession of two sets of bolt cutters.
Turner and Stump are charged with theft by taking, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, and criminal trespass.
Turner was additionally charged with giving a false name and identity fraud.
