The Floyd County Board of Education is expected to vote on an incentive for school system employees to get the COVID-19 vaccine during a called meeting Tuesday night.
If the plan is approved, teachers and other staff could receive $500 if they get vaccinated before the end of November.
The board is also expected to discuss personnel changes during the meeting which will begin at 6 p.m. at the central office on Riverside Parkway.
