FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS
A 31-year old Rome man is facing charges after he fought with a Floyd County Sheriff’s Deputy late Saturday.
According to jail records, Jordan Ty Ellison punched the officer multiple times in the face and head, and then took the deputy’s taser.
Ellison is charged with felony and misdemeanor obstruction, removal of a weapon from a public official, simple battery against a law enforcement officer, criminal trespass, and disorderly conduct.
Ellison was arrested at 227 Broad Street, according to jail reports.
