FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS
A Rome man is charged with 1st-degree cruelty to children after he reportedly punched and slapped a 6-month old in the face, leaving welts, bruising, and red marks.
According to Floyd County Jail records, 20-year old Harold Cruz also punched the child’s mother.
The acts occurred in the presence of other children in the home.
Cruz is additionally charged with battery, reckless conduct, and 3rd-degree cruelty to children.
