FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS
Charges have been filed in connection with a wreck earlier this year on Riverbend Drive that left one person injured.
According to the arrest warrant, 21-year old Grady Evan Willerson of Rome was driving under the influence of alcohol and was driving too fast in a curve when his vehicle traveled from the inside lane to the outside lane, partially left the roadway, and struck a tree near the entrance of Coosa Diagnostic Center.
The impact resulted in a front seat passenger in Willerson’s vehicle sustaining serious injuries.
That person, who was under 21 at the time, also had alcohol that Willerson had furnished him with.
Willerson is charged with serious injury by vehicle, DUI, too fast for conditions, open container, underage furnishing of alcohol, failure to maintain a lane, and a seat belt violation.
