Two people were injured in a wreck Mandau morning on Alabama Highway near the International Paper Plant.
According to Floyd County Police, a Kenworth truck was traveling westbound on Ga. 20 and turned left into the path of an eastbound Toyota pickup truck.
The driver of the Kenworth, 52-year-old Mark Ellis of Calhoun was charged with no seatbelt and failure to yield while turning left.
The driver of the pickup is identified as 41-year-old Ellyn Patrick of Rome.
Both Ellis and Patrick were transported to the hospital with severe, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The wreck occurred at around 6:57 a.m. Monday.

A witness at the scene said the wreck involved a pickup truck and an 18-wheeler, and one motorist had to be extricated.
