The RCS School Board voted to approve the appointment of Anna K. Davie Elementary School’s new principal, Brant Amerman.
Amerman has served as the assistant principal of Elm Street Elementary School since 2018. Before being named as the assistant principal for Elm Street, he served as Elm Street’s gifted resource teacher starting in 2016.
Anna K. Davie’s new principal holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida in elementary education and a master’s degree in educational administration from Capella University from Georgia Southern University.
He has a strong background in elementary education and a focus on developing meaningful relationships. Amerman has served in leadership positions during his career with Rome City Schools and works closely with the Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TRBI)program and the district’s Positive Behavior and Intervention Supports (PBIS) efforts.
