Election 2022: What voters need to know

FLOYD COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS AND REGISTRATION

Early voting for November 8, 2022, General Election will begin Monday, October 17 and continue through Friday, November 4 at the Floyd County Elections Office, located at 18 East 12th Street, Rome.

Early Voting hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The last day to cast your ballot early is Friday, November 4, 2022.

In addition, early voting will be held at the Elections office on Saturday, October 22, and Saturday, October 29, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Early voting will also be held at the Elections Office Sunday, October 30 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. 

No early voting will be held at the Anthony Center on Saturdays or Sundays.

An Absentee Ballot by Mail application can be requested beginning Monday, August 22 through Friday, October 28.

An application for an Absentee Ballot by Mail can be requested by calling (706)291-5167 or by sending an email to [email protected].

An application for an Absentee Ballot by Mail can be printed from the Secretary of State Elections website, completed, and mailed or delivered to the Floyd County Elections Office, 18 East 12th Street, Rome, GA 30161.

Completed Absentee by Mail Applications can also be submitted as an attachment by email to [email protected].

An Absentee Ballot drop box will be available at the Election Center located at 18 East 12th Street SW, Rome, GA during the days and hours of Early Voting.

If you are not registered to vote and would like to cast a ballot in the November 8 General Election, the deadline to register is October 11.
