A 22-year-old Polk County man was arrested by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday for multiple charges including child cruelty.
According to Floyd County Jail Records, 22-year-old Justin Tyler Leslie of a Cedartown address was arrested at the Polk County line after he allegedly was found in a residence with 3 infants and a disabled person with deplorable living conditions.
Police stated that the infants in the residence were found with severe diaper rash and insect bites all over their bodies. The residence also contained trash, mold, and feces from both humans and animals.
Leslie is being charged with second-degree cruelty to children, neglect of an elderly or disabled person, 2 counts of cruelty to children in the second degree, and 3 counts of the contribution of the deprivation of a child.
