An 80-year-old man Cave Spring man has been arrested on charges of computer pornography and sexual exploitation of children.
According to Floyd County Jail records and an arrest warrant:
Julian Paul Hodges possessed digital images on his computer of children, some looking as young as 2-4 years old and up to early teens, engaged in apparent sexual acts.
Some of the images depicted children with adult males, according to the reports.
As of Friday morning, Hodges remained in the Floyd County Jail.
Bond has been set at $20,000
Four charged with meth possession
Four Rome residents were arrested at a location at 1325 Kingston Highway Thursday evening on drug charges.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
33-year-old Daramis Deunte Stevenson, 22-year-old Tiffanie Nicole Huie, 31-year-old Jonathan Isaac Gonzales, and 32-year-old Brittany Star Pope were all found with suspected methamphetamine.
Huie is facing an additional charge after she was found with suspected meth past the guard line at the jail.
Gonzales was also charged with a parole violation.
Theft by taking charge filed against Lindale man
A Lindale man has been arrested on a felony warrant charging him with theft by taking.
According to the warrant:
42-year-old Terry Lawrence Stroud went into the Marathon convenience store at 3007 Rockmart Highway while it was open, and took a bank bag containing around $5,000 in cash.
The theft occurred on Jan. 19 according to the warrant.
