Student charged with pepper-spraying classmates

Karlee Dantale Sharpe

A student at Pepperell High School was arrested Thursday morning and charged with felony possession of a weapon on school grounds on accusations that she sprayed two students during an altercation, which affected other staff members, and then continued to spray as she walked around the roundabout during class change, reports stated. 

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Karlee Danyale Sharpe, 17, is also charged with misdemeanor disruption of school, disorderly conduct, battery, and reckless conduct. The incident caused one student to be sent to the hospital for lung issues. She is being held without bond.

Rome man charged with possession

A Rome man was arrested Thursday afternoon behind a convenience store on East 20th Street and charged with possession of meth, reports state.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Keelan Mark May, 33, is also charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and drug-related objects. He is being held without bond.

South Rome man charged with stalking

A South Rome man was arrested Thursday afternoon on Porter Street and charged with felony aggravated stalking when he violated a temporary protective order by coming within 300 feet of the victim, reports state.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Jonathan Lovell Brown, 38, is being held without bond.
