Man accused of threatening officer
A 35-year-old Rome man is facing a felony count of terroristic threats and acts after he allegedly threatened to kill a police officer several times.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Lanarius Zondrea Dupree II made the threats during a traffic stop on Turner McCall Boulevard early Monday.
Dupree was also charged with failure to maintain a lane and driving under the influence.
Man charged with making threats, battery
A 54-year-old Rome man was arrested after he reportedly threatened to shoot and kill a woman at his Lovell Road residence.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Terry Lee Arp also made physical contact with the victim, leaving her with a busted lip and a scratched nose.
Arp is charged with terroristic threats and acts and battery.
Woman charged with criminal damage to property
A Cave Spring woman was arrested Sunday following an incident on Dellwood Drive in West Rome.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
47-year-old Carlas Ann Evans drove her vehicle into her boyfriend’s vehicle, causing more than $500 in damage.
Evans is charged with a felony count of 2nd-degree criminal damage to property.
Silver Creek man charged with theft by conversion and theft by deception
A Silver Creek man was recently jailed on a felony warrant charging him with theft by conversion.
According to the warrant:
38-year-old Jeremiah Adam Costlow sold a 1989 Chevy Suburban that he was conducting repairs on by representing himself as the owner of the vehicle.
The transaction for $300 was completed on Oct. 22.
Costlow is also charged with theft by deception.
Report: Man stole U-Haul truck
A Centre, Alabama was booked into the Floyd County Jail Sunday on a felony count of theft by taking a motor vehicle.
According to jail records:
49-year-old Janssen Layne Jordan took a U-Haul truck from U-Haul on Shorter Avenue and failed to return it.
The truck was supposed to be returned on Apr. 4.
It was eventually reported stolen on Apr. 9.
