The SPLOST Citizens Committee will continue hearing presentations for proposed projects on Thursday.
The meeting begins at 5 p.m. in the Rome-Floyd Fire Education Room on East 12th Street.
After hearing all the presentations, the committee will come up with a final list of projects to be included in a special purpose, local option sales tax package that will go to the voters this fall.
The City of Rome is expected to present projects including structural repairs to the clock tower, and a request from public works.
The county will present a proposed addition of a turn lane on Park Avenue in Lindale, along with Eden Valley Road and Huffaker Road improvements, and a request from parks and rec. for county parks.
A couple of projects are also on the agenda for the recycling center dealing with hard-to-recycle materials and AI-powered recycling robots.
The committee will also hear about the Cave Spring waterline replacement.
