The SPLOST Citizens Committee will hear more presentations for projects that could be included in a special purpose, local option sales tax package when they meet Thursday.
The presentations will include prison security upgrades, a boardwalk from Jackson Hill to Ridgeferry Park, improvements to Walker Mountain Road, Three Mile Road, and Mango Road, the relocation of Floyd County Public Works, and a southeast water extension.
Proposals for Floyd County Public Works and public safety equipment and capital and a citizen application regarding the former O’Neill Manufacturing site in North Rome are also on the agenda.
The meeting begins at 5 p.m. in the Rome-Floyd Fire Education Room on East 12th Street.
All of the SPLOST committee meetings are open to the public.
