The City of Rome –
The City of Rome has announced that its administrative offices will be closed for Juneteenth (Monday, June 19th).
The City also detailed the solid waste schedule; Monday’s garbage, yard waste, & recycling will be serviced on Tuesday. Tuesday’s garbage, yard waste, & recycling will be serviced on Wednesday.
The Walker Mountain Landfill will be also closed on Juneteenth.
Mark Your Calendar: The landfill is installing a second scale. It will be open a half day on Fri. Jun 23, 8a-11a and closed on Sat. Jun 24.
