A Rockmart man was jailed following a shooting incident late last week on Smith Road in Floyd County.
According to Jail records:
34-year-old James Terrence Smith shot a woman’s car, damaging the vehicle.
Smith was reportedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.
He is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, criminal trespass, discharging a firearm while under the influence, discharge of a firearm near a public street, and reckless conduct.
