Rome Police responded to two separate reports of stolen firearms on Monday.
According to the incident reports:
A Smith and Wesson .380 caliber pistol was reported stolen from an apartment on Leland Avenue.
The theft is believed to have occurred between June 29 and July 2.
Meanwhile, an Old Airport Road resident reported that his property had been broken into on Sunday evening.
A 30-30 lever action rifle, a 22 LR lever action rifle, and a 16-gauge collapsible shotgun were missing from the gun safe along with multiple boxes of ammunition.
