Man accused of distributing fentanyl
A 54-year-old Rome man was arrested Tuesday on charges of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and possession with the intent to distribute.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Richard Rene Bagley sold fentanyl to a cooperating witness in a motel room on Martha Berry Highway back on April 26.
Execution of a search warrant leads to drug arrest
A Rome man was arrested at his Hasty Road residence Tuesday on drug charges.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
44-year-old Titus Christopher Allen was found with methamphetamine, less than an ounce of marijuana, and gabapentin pills during the execution of a search warrant.
He is charged with possession of meth, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of dangerous drugs, and a probation violation.
Allen was also arrested on a warrant charging him with theft by receiving stolen property.
According to the warrant:
Allen was in possession of a truck that he knew or should have known had been stolen.
The value of the truck was listed at $2,500.
