At Georgia Power, we believe that everyone should have access to safe, clean, reliable, and affordable energy. We are dedicated to helping our residential customers find ways to save money and energy.
To better serve our customers in the Rome area, we will be hosting an appliance recycling event. Georgia Power invites customers to drop off their *old window AC units and dehumidifiers. Every unit turned in will be responsibly recycled. In exchange, customers will receive a $20 check for every unit they recycle. Limit 4 appliances for each customer. All donors will get a free Advanced PowerTap to help save energy while supplies last.
*Note: AC units and dehumidifiers must be in working condition
