Report: Woman bit man on the chest

A 27-year-old Rome woman was arrested Friday on a felony count of aggravated battery.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Jasmine Taylor Biles bit a man on the chest, resulting in a disfiguring injury.

The incident occurred at a residence on Nicklaus Drive off Old Summerville Road near Stonebridge Golf Club.

Man charged with identity fraud

A Summerville man was booked into the Floyd County Jail Friday on multiple charges including identity fraud, 2nd-degree forgery, and negotiating fictitious checks.

According to jail records and an arrest warrant:

45-year-old Ashford Lamont Price and another individual used a financial slip order along with the victim’s identification in the drive-thru at a bank on Martha Berry Highway to obtain $600 from the victim’s account.

Price then refused to provide his real name to police.

He is also charged with misdemeanor counts of obstruction and giving false information.
