Report: Man entered vehicle, used stolen credit card
A Silver Creek man is facing multiple counts of financial transaction card fraud along with single counts of theft by taking, entering an automobile, criminal trespass, and loitering or prowling.
According to arrest warrants and Floyd County Jail records:
31-year-old Thomas Gerald Moore III was on the property of an auto repair shop on John Davenport Drive after hours, attempting to open car doors.
He broke into a locked toolbox inside a pickup truck and took several items including power tools.
Moore also used a stolen credit card to make purchases at local businesses totaling $414.88.
Wisconsin man arrested for theft by receiving a stolen motor vehicle
A stolen vehicle recently landed a man from Gotham, Wisconsin in the Floyd County Jail.
According to jail records:
37-year-old Jason Eric Rom retained a vehicle that he knew or should have known to be stolen.
He is charged with a felony count of theft by receiving stolen property.
