A 26-year-old Aragon woman is accused of stealing from a 74-year-old woman.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Abigail Lynette Allen sold the victim’s tow dolly, valued at $1,000, on Facebook on September 11.
She also took the victim’s debit or credit card and made a withdrawal from an ATM at the West Rome Walmart on August 11.
Allen had also stolen checks that she forged and cashed without permission.
A warrant states that Allen had been taking advantage of the elderly woman for about two years by selling her personal items and using her money.
Allen is charged with exploitation of the elderly, financial transaction card fraud, and theft by taking.
