A man reported a missing firearm to police earlier this week.
According to a Rome Police Department report:
The man told officers he removed the 9mm pistol to use the restroom at the East Rome Walmart.
He then forgot to pick it up when he left the store.
After he realized he’s left the gun behind he called the store but no one was able to locate it.
The missing firearm is valued at $500.
