Two people were killed in a two-vehicle wreck on Highway 411 near Cartersville Friday.
According to the Georgia State Patrol:
A westbound Mazda 3 was traveling in the eastbound lanes and struck a Jeep Compass that was traveling east.
The driver of the Mazda, 18-year-old Bridget Canup of Cartersville, and the driver of the Jeep, 20-year-old Kevin Mejia of Cartersville, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred Friday at around 1:28 a.m.
